The files of the Wisze sejmik end with this volume. To exhaust the monuments of the sejmiks of the Ruthenian Voivodeship, there are still no laudes of the Galician and Chełm sejmiks. 1 both, in copies taken from the original town records, are available from the publisher of this volume; the first ones have already been collated and prepared for printing, there will be about a thousand numbers and they will include two further volumes of Town and Land Acts; the number of the second ones amounts to more or less the same number, so again the Chełm sejmik files will occupy two further volumes of this publication. Unfortunately, the copies, made years ago in the Main Archives in Warsaw under the supervision of the unforgettable historian of regional councils, A. Pawiński, are not collated at all, so work in this direction will have to be undertaken separately. However, they are prepared for the publication of this laud of the Bełz Voivodeship, the files of which are located in the Iwów land archive. They will be able to afford two large volumes, as they have over 2,000 issues. The material, to a small extent known to the scientific world, contains invaluable sources for learning about the history of the Bełz Voivodeship, just as volumes 24-27 will undoubtedly contribute to completing the history of the Borderland Voivodeship in the period from 1572—1772.
