1. When, from the commissioner's office, our actions in the supply of provisions and forages are observed by many citizens of both the splendid land of Lviv and the Zhydaczew district, as if they were supposed to be a nuisance to some and a relief to others, we explain with this statement our works that no other way than according to the proportions of smoke, in particular each city, town, village and the parts of them that marked the tariff in the year one thousand seven hundred eleventh by formerly JW. at that time the delegates established and in the acts of the local town the olate of the subjects are and were performed. Therefore, as the foundation for the work we perform was not laid by us, any error, if any, should be attributed to the governing laws.
2. And since, due to the duties assigned to us by the above-mentioned tariff, we made divisions not only for the Lviv land and the Jewish district, but also for each village, it seemed to us that we made quite a few mistakes, therefore, on the basis of the resolution of the congress of the Lviv land and the Jewish district, on the fourteenth day of September of the present year, the feria secunda post fell into the records of this city. festum sancM Michaelis Archangeli die videlicet prima mensis Octobris per oblatem given, we make this announcement to all JO. WW. our land of Lviv and the Jewish district to the citizens of royal and clerical hereditary estates and their possessors, so that, in order to establish a new tariff, the state of the estates should be in line with the current ones, the inventories of these estates should be produced in this way from the date of announcement for a half-year period, and in this way from healthy and uninfected places.
3. First of all, an inventory should be written in each village whose village or town it is, and this is necessary to make a difference between villages having one name. Secundo: the first line in the inventory is supposed to indicate the number of farmers, the second line indicates the number of cottages, the third line indicates the number of occupied lands; and others, the following corvée: rents, taxes, duties and tributes, accompanied by information about the type of custom, where it should be carried out, the levies and taxes are given according to the yak measure, and the custom of the country is to assess serfdom in a continuous manner: foot, quadruple, steam or single. Other invoices from estates that do not belong to serfs, such as leases, ponds and mills included in these inventories, are not to be collected, and from cities and towns governed by Magdeburg law, i.e. freedom, a poll tax is to be levied, after which a quarter is to be paid and all taxes are to be paid. Jews are supposed to provide their own poll tax with a note.
4. And since the city of Lviv has very different taxation customs compared to other cities and towns, including the establishment of peasants and the peasants, which in particular designates each citizen with a possession, therefore, as these two customs are a proportion of the contribution to each tax, so that those for the establishment of taxes are the foundation, a properly written register and the city rulers' hand signed nemine excepto of each property, specifying, as in other places, inventories, in the records of the local town are to be produced. Everyone, according to this information, has to pay the old tariff mentioned above.
