21. The landowners of Sanok elect Ignacy Potocki as the marshal of the confederation starosta of Kaniów.
1. We, the citizens and landowners of the land of Sanocita, are already confederated under the grace of JWlMci, Mr. Jakub Bronicki, treasurer of Wiślica, having regrettably lost JW. our marshal, after the violent hardships of war with the enemy Moscow, when he moved to heaven for eternal rest, but because of this our act of confederation did not fall, not irritated by any manifestos by the free landowners, we remained and remain confederated invariably with the Holy Roman Catholic faith and freedom, so only by adhering to the previous act in all respects do we proceed to elect a marshal.
2. And since the Potocki house is known not only in our Russian voivodeships, but throughout the entire homeland, zealous for the holy faith, always sticking to freedom and rights, accredited to favorable powers, well known among foreigners, so we, seeing the spirit and courage of our ancestors, proudly imitate in ourselves JWIMci Mr. Ignacy Potocki on Złoty Potok and Usiatyn, starosta Kaniowski, we invite you to the marshal's staff of our land, confirming the councilors specified in the first act, and to the place who died by the enemy's hand near Krakow, IM. the marshal of our fellow landowners will ask for this work, pouring on him all the power customary to marshals to order taxes and expeditions, to arrange, omnia sancita, resolutions always agreeing to maintain inseparability with the Bar Confederation. 3. We, the confederated landowners, oblige the Marshal to make this choice by signing ad acta and announce his election to our entire land with his universal hand. We invite those who have not been able to sign so far due to the obstacles of Moscow to join this holy union without delay. Whose love of faith and freedom will show that, disregarding all fortunes, favors, having only faith as the goal of salvation and freedom, which they have so far boasted about, left to themselves by their ancestors, various accidents can easily fall on the person of JW, the marshal, God forbid, long illness, loss of strength, falling into slavery, death, so that it does not cause any downfall of our confederation, so in such circumstances JW. The general marshal of the Bar Confederation whoever asked a person to do such work, we promise to recognize him as the current marshal in our land.
4. Having therefore assigned these rules to JW. the marshal, other circumstances that would result from the conscientiae et prudentiae of the same JW. marshal together with JW.
