1) Stanisław Koniecpolski. ») The above-mentioned Piotr Mohyła was present in Wiśnia during this sejmik, and his efforts to support the nobility's votes were not without adventure, as evidenced by the protest of Samuel Swiatopek Bolestraszycki against Jan Fredro, the son of the former soldier of Przemyśl, brought to the Przemyśl town on December 9, 1624. Bolestraszycki tells about Frzedr that the latter, not remembering that he was an envoy from the king sent to the regional council to represent the crown, attacked the inn to which Piotr Mohyła was invited by Swiatopełka, cut the latter in the face with a saber, and if Mohyla's guests were present in the inn, namely Maiymilian Przerębski, castellan of Sieradz and the crown referendary and Marcin Stadnicki the castellan of Lanocki had not calmed him down, then the assembly would have been broken up amidst fighting and bloodshed, unless more than three hundred sabers were ready to take revenge, which, however, was averted by Svyatopolk, due to the fact that Fredro was in his capacity as the king's envoy and to ensure that public meetings were not interrupted for private reasons. It also follows from the protests that during the deliberations the nobility went to their inns, either to write down articles or to deal with private matters. C. Pr. 343 p. 1637—1639.
