Elsewhere, I draw attention to the importance of the sejmik acts included in this collection in terms of the sejmiks' influence on politics, the political role of the Wisze sejmik in the defense of the first interregnum and the Zebrzydowski rebellion, and its attitude towards the most important events of that time3). At this point, we would like to point out that valuable materials are also taken into the history files of eminent personalities from the sejmik. In them, such figures as Jan Zamojski, Stanisław Żółkiewski, Chodliiewicz, Karol Danilewicz, Jazłowski Konie, Polish, Ilerburts and even the history of such outstanding envoys as John Dj^mitr Solikowski, Archbishop of Lviv, Aleksander Trzebieński, Bishop of Pizemyski, etc., pass before our eyes. more than one valuable date on the basis of which he will learn more deeply about the history and public activities of these outstanding political activists. Even the messages of dignitaries are a material that deepens the knowledge of their activities, and many such messages are signed by the dignitary with a shaking hand already on his death bed, and he also assures that although in recent years and in poor health, God has given me health, I will not fail to appear among the brothers ■*).
