1. We, the clerical councils, secular officials and all the knights, who came here to Lviv during the trial of the querels, visited their families for our own purposes. We commend our brotherly service to the officials and all citizens of the Russian and Podolia Voivodeships of Bełżec and to the desire for slowness. 2. Worshipful Messrs. brothers I When we came here to Lviv for our legal matters, we received a letter from some of the pp. citizens of Greater Poland in Kolo die 14 Februarii written and after all the Crown with the priest. published in Lithuanian, which, having read, not without great regret, we see that some people and their stubborn undertakings are leading their homeland to a visible downfall, and with words, they are softening freedom, sweetening us all to eternal slavery, and they want to lead the Polish Republic to downfall. 3. Because whoever connects the previous congresses with the present Kolsko with a healthy eye, who looks into the future Sieradz and Jendrzejowski congresses, which were called there in the Kolsko magazine, with his own common sense, can easily see that all the foundations of the Rzphej, having moved the novum statum et formam Reipublicae, are planning to establish this and, God forbid, our foundation. For this congress, the future Sejm of Jendrzej, was organized by the King IMci according to the law at the request of all the Crown Estates, raising greater power than the Sejm wants to have, matters pertaining to it belong to all estates, I do not know by what law they think about it, and in short, J. kr. They have abandoned our lord and our sovereignty from the state and authorities and all the statusum Keipublicae, having changed the armati inermes, they want to lead us into slavery, or at least not into slavery. 4. Having looked at these and many other circumstances, we see great danger for ourselves and the Republic of Poland, which neither the love of the homeland nor the slowness of His Holiness. Mci p. m., neither by the validity of the articles approved at Wiślica, nor by the seriousness of the complex Sejm, can be stopped, so here in Lviv [with] joint advice on how to deal with such a terrible danger of the Republic of Poland, it seemed the healthiest and most right thing for us to do, for the WMci m. m. pp. and brothers, as those to whom this news first came announced, urgently asking for God's mercy and for the love of the homeland, that you join in. remembering the censuses, confederations, and hoods made by our ancestors for our cases, as well as by us in those deplorable times at Wysznia and then at Wiślica to protect the peaceful reign of His Majesty the King. It is written to extinguish this terrible fervor for violence with the greatest possible readiness to stop it. 6. So that the time and place for the meeting and further persuasions would be known to everyone, we have appointed a place near Wisznia on the Rakem River on the twenty-third day of March, for which time and the assembly of J. kr. Mci is placed wherever we ourselves, Lord God, will place ourselves and WMciów n. ra. pp. and brothers, we beg you to present yourselves to this place and for this day. A violent thing, gentlemen, a thing of great danger and almost full of downfall, so we do not doubt that it was for God, to protect the majesty of His king. You will deign to do this to preserve your freedoms. 6. And seeing that they judged everything there because of their speed and our unreadiness, we asked them, the field hetman, *) to keep a close eye on such dangers, and if something so violent and sudden should happen, he would inform us and them through his letters, promising them that wherever he would tell them to meet us, he would communicate about it with Mr. Russian voivode ^), who was not among us at that time, due to the distance, so that we would be happy to appear before the higher appointment. 7. And those who are unable to arrive at the appointed time within a short distance of the road, will take up residence at home, without waiting for captivity there, and will appear at the time and place appointed by us, wherever the time and place will most urgently show it, and will not deign to leave us in support of the preservation of the entire Republic of Poland and common freedom.
