The electors are usually dignitaries or land officials, from the chamberlain to the sub-starosta or land bailiff; he had to be an elector who settled in the land or at least in the voivodeship and had no criminal action against him. Dignitaries and castellans, even those from minor castellanies, were also excluded from election. However, non-official nobility were also elected, as is most common in the Sanok region 2). The MP received the instructions under the seal of the Marshal. It sometimes happened that the nobility tried to impose and force the elector to accept a parliamentary function by making an election despite the will of the elector, and then such an elector would file a protest both at the sejmik and before the acts 3).

The votes were various, unanimously nemine contradicente, or by majority 4). The first method was used especially when there were few voters 5) even for the election of collectors, in which majority votes were usually used. Votes were cast publicly ^), not from pieces of paper, as there were protests against such secret votes. Therefore, the senators vote first, then the nobility cast their votes, and if there is a difference regarding the electors, then the nobility asks the senators to withdraw from their elect 7). A protest was lodged against the election of a deputy to the Sejm, since it involved the majority of votes at the Sejm, as an invalid reason for the "easiness of abuses at such a large meeting of people8] which usually took place due to the election of a deputy. Here, too, majority voting was sometimes used, but only when the entire assembly agreed to such a motion; it should be added, however, that the last method of election for General Wiszeński occurred only in 1720. 9). Deputies to the Lublin tribunal were always elected by unanimous consent
