Assemblies are held in privileged places 1|, for example in Wiśnia they are held in the parish church, and in Zbrój ae on the Rakiem River in the Dołhomościska oak forest; the celebrations in Lviv took place in the Franciscan church, in Przemyśl in the cathedral there, and in Sanok in the Franciscan church. The deliberations sometimes lasted several days, only election sejmiks were held in one day and had to be completed before sunset. However, the deliberations of other sejmiks lasted several days, as proof of this we quote the following dates from our collection. Thus, the July Laudum of 1574 was signed on July 30, and we know that on July 28, the burghers of Lviv protested against the resolutions of some knights 2); the January 1587 sejmik began on January 7 and the deliberations, although confederate, ended on January 18; The king convened the March sejmik of 1616 for March 8, and on March 12, the marshal signed the adopted instruction to the deputies on time. The parliamentary legislation has long taken care of the sejmiks and, supporting their seriousness, ordered that a week before the beginning of the sejmik all judiciary in the land should be suspended, which was also diligently observed in the local voivodeship 3). It was forbidden to come to assemblies with firearms, and especially not to enter the meeting circle with them or carry hajduks with oneself, only at armed assembly meetings this rule was deviated from, but even here a reservation was made that no one with a hajduk, a rifle or a shotgun should enter the meeting circle, which the councilors were to ensure. The adopted resolutions were signed by senators named Mr. councils and several noblemen named landowners, and later, after 1606, the marshal himself. The publication of resolutions is carried out in all cities and towns by the usher, who on market days in the cities, upon the request of the castle starosts, published the articles of the Wisze sejmik, such as the one from March 8, 1616, where, due to the danger from the Tartars and Vlachs, a two-lan levy was adopted, i.e. for lances from the fief also from the towns 5).
Since the declaration of conscription sums and the creation of the voivodeship treasury, the scope of the council's competences has expanded significantly. The landowners skillfully moved even the most important state matters to the assemblies, so that they could be discussed among the brothers and then submitted to the assembly for approval. This symptom was noticed above from the institution sent to the sejmik deputies to the Warsaw council in 1027. From the January 1645 instruction, which clearly stipulated that deputies should not allow

any burdens, connetualities, changes in status not proposed at the assemblies show that General Wiszeński shared the general desire of the landed gentry to have all important matters discussed at the assemblies first.
