1. In front of the office and these acts of the town of Belz, the prudent Jan Wilczek, the usher general of the Russian land, standing in front of him, having for himself the noble Józef Goscieczki and Jan Wolski, and socially with them in the manner of his relationship, which he was ready to establish in the court before the office and in the court of everyone in the Polish Crown, openly and voluntarily testified that at the meeting of their Lordship Mr. dignitaries and noble knights of the Ruthenian Voivodeship, which Their Lordship had in Lviv, pro feria secunda post dominicam Reminiscere proxima') for their courts previously decided in Wisznia in a circle, and in the presence of Their Lordship, when at that time they were united with themselves and with their lordship, their deputies for their courts elected in the Low Castle of Lviv, from the famous Soviets, townspeople and common people of the entire city of Lviv are to them in the public and the solemnist stated that they were adhering to their protestations, which, starting after the death of King IMci Henrik, they had done at past congresses in this Russian voivodeship, namely ad rem preesentem, noting their lesser protest from Wisznia, which is given in Busko in the town records and entered, as at that time in Wisznia and before that they never granted any jurisdiction to establish these courts and other articles in this city, did not approve them and did not get involved in them, so also at that time in Lviv they did not approve them in any way or participate in them at all they wanted to enter. And this is a principle, standing by the laws, privileges, ancient customs, freedoms and antiquities of its own city, according to which especially the city of Lviv and its townspeople and all its citizens, as well as all their city properties and lands, including those which are incorporated into the city individually by a decree of the Sejm, on the one hand, their own and common German Maideburg law, and in ordinary courts of the same law and their actions, the Polish kings, and have long been excluded from all laws and judgments apart from the authority itself, and they have long been excluded from the capitals of their king. Which rights they have not only pars vel palatinatibus regni, nor as a privatis personis, but precisely as to the goods of the entire Polish Republic and to one member of the Polish Crown, and as a body to one member, their kings, with their crown councils, have always granted succession to them, until the present king, and have sworn, held, and exercised final co-associations with them, and then also (when controversies came to the Sejm) and firmly confirmed them with judicial decrees, so that these rights, decrees, their freedoms and old customs, the townspeople, previously denied in constant use, are and have always been, and it was no different that they also gave their oaths to their kings and to all the Crowns, just as they recently gave them to today's king. Therefore, salvis iuribus iuramentisque suis praefatis, they cannot and should not make any changes to themselves, namely such as it is in their laws, and even more so, they cannot and should not take or apply to themselves under the law, jurisdiction and other state. Because especially in this noble Republic of the Crown of all Poland, despite different estates, cities and townspeople from the knightly order, which is superior to them, they are so separated that, being different from each other in terms of condition, they have their own rights, freedoms and privileges, separate and different, and not otherwise the same from one head, i.e. from their kings, their lords and from the entire Polish Republic. Therefore, in uno et eodem gremio corporeque totius regni, all of them, being as townspeople, are able to always maintain their own law and cannot interfere with other estates and other laws, and neither can their lords take noble knights' villages or extend them to their own rights, and even more rights to destroy and increase their freedom and freedom, or to act on it privata particulariie sua potestate, i.e. headless and without They can't do it all together and without them. 3. But what, however, is the fact that, at the above-mentioned Vishna congress, their Majesty the knights of this Russian Voivodeship want and understand the courts and their affairs, constituting their own towns and cities to these courts and articles and subordinated to a certain jurisdiction, and they show that the townspeople and their municipal affairs, above their ordinary laws and actions, extraque competens eorum tribunal regium, judge a certain ultimae instantiae in themselves and among themselves, and they show that which is greater, that they also spoil their urban liberties and liberties and elevate them, not wanting to possess them at all, and, moreover, they lay many other dura quaedam et insueta onera, serritutes, poenas, constitutiones against them and against them in their scriptures, without asking them anything about it, immo invitis illis protestantibus, therefore accepting to the above-mentioned protestations as prior to the rights of freedom and to the old customs of this city, and especially having the prerogative that this city and its inhabitants are all Lviv, and with their land and property they are not dependent on the Ruthenian Voivodeship particulariter, but on the ancient privileges of all the Polish Crown ad unumąue corpus regni et reipublicae sunt uniti addicti et aggregati, for the same and other reasons, quite widely in this circle, many of them, told by them in supplici libello, did not want to enter into such judgments and do not want to, referring to all this generalist ad integrum corpus totius coronae et reipublicae regni. And at the same time, whatever their affairs and municipal actions would be related to them, they would take ad łudicia sua antiqua et competentia antoritate videlicet regum et principum totiusque corporis reipublicae regni Poloniae per totum regnum non autem parłiculariter fundata, where they want and are always ready to justify themselves to anyone. 3. And so, when the townspeople of Lviv expressed their denial about all this, and when their Lordship Mr. the deputies of such protestation did not want to accept them at their request and, not only to the records of their own courts but also of the municipal courts in Lviv, they did not allow and forbade this protestation, in spite of it, later on the city and the townspeople in their privatim courts, appropriating them and their actions, as they called themselves, per contumaciam in lucris quibusdam et in evasionibus stanom some of them were convicted in compenter, so both for this and for everything else in genere et specie against their respective masters. deputies, as if each of their persons were appointed here and against all parties in such courts acting in tergum eorum or acquiring anything, and finally de nullitate omnium quorumcunque processuum ex quibuscunque causis quomodoUbet per quascunque personas contra eosdem seu contra civitatem praefatam leopoliensem ibidem obtentorum vel obtinendorum they legally and openly testified and protested several times verbis expre3sis. Moreover, this janitor and the nobility were there in large numbers and that it was no different that they saw and heard what was happening in front of the office and in these Belz files, which could be closest to them from the Ruthenian Voivodeship, they voluntarily testified, and individually each of them gave memorable testimony to this from the above-mentioned Soviets and burghers of Lviv, who presented it to the office.
