Andrzej from Boguszyce Boguski, castellan of Sanok: It is known in my writing that, in favor of Wiśni's laudum at the previous assembly electionis deputati decided1), according to the law and power given to me by this laudum and placed on me, that every hour more and more pericula are coming to the republic, I am appointing a time for a popular uprising, so that you can come together. pp. and brothers, all citizens of the Sanok land pro die yigesima Octobris near the future near Krosno, behind the brickyard, in a place on the river between Suchodoł which is a), in armis et cum ar mis described by common law, and those who finally came down to stand with their sabers, rifles and rifle necessities, idque sub paenis legibus regni appositis. 2. For the sake of better faith and certainty, I am signing and sealing it with my hand, for the certainty and information of all WMi, m. m. pp. and the brothers came, I ordered my universal book to be published and published in the Sanok town records per oblate. Sanok, October 7, 1648. Sanok hood judges set the date and place of the popular uprising.
1. We are the hood judges of the Ruthenian Voivodeship of the Sanok Land. JWnym, Wnym, born and n. m. pp. and brothers, citizens of the Sanok land, on the recommendation of our services, we make it known that the universal IMci, Mr. Andrzej of Boguszyce, the Boguski castellan of Sanok,2) has come to the town of Sanok, so that we all go in armis, as if to a camp near Krosno, for our defense in such a danger, already here on our countries from Ukraine. Which universal, as far as space is concerned, was not accepted by many of their Fathers gathered in Sanok for the hood courts, so I am correcting it with our universal, so that you bought and gathered yourselves not in Krosno but in Sanok on the appointed day, i.e. the twentieth of October next, ready [to repel us] the imminent danger from Lviv. 2.
