We read about Radymno, given in the above document to the Przemyśl bishops, in the Przemyśl magazine Wiedza Chrzęść. Prauda (1833, year I., issue III., pp. 105 and 106) contains the following interesting information:

"Radymno, i.e. Radyiupna, was a village when it fell into the possession of the bishops. Władysław, the Polish king, changed it into a town (in cioilatem) at the request of John Lubinius, bishop of Przem., ordering it to be called Radymno, to be governed by the Teitonian or Magdebnrian law, abolishing all Polish and Ruthenian laws and customs contrary to this law. In order to raise the town, he gave it to the privilege to the fair on Tuesday and to the three-day fair, annual on St. Lawrence, from which merchants and buyers were to return home without paying the fair fee or any other fair fee. The privilege itself was issued from Krakow on Monday, i.e. the day after Sunday, March 19, 1431, in the presence of Adalbert, Archbishop of Gniezno, and the Primate. Zbigniew of Krakow, Jan of Włocławek, bishops, Mikołaj of Michałów, castellan, Jan of Tarnów, voivode, Paweł of Boguraiłowice, judge of Krakow, to the crown chancellor Jan, bishop of Włocławek, and Władysław of Oporów, doctor of decrees, parish priest of Łęczyca, and Saint Florian of Krakow, deputy chancellor.

"Casimir Jagiellończyk, the Polish king, taking into account the qualities, services and faithfulness experienced for himself and for the country (habendo respectum ad non mediocrem ińrtutem meritorumąue redolenłiam nccnon erga nos et regnum nostrum acceptissimam devotioneni) of X. Mikołaj Błaszkowicz, the bishop of Przemyśl, granted the town a privilege for the second fair on St. Matthew's Day, which was to last for eight whole days, reserving all freedom and security for merchants, as well as for buyers. The privilege was granted in Nowe Miasto Korczyna on the fourth day after the Octave of Corpus Christi (i.e. June 11), 14F7. Those present were Jan of Rytwian, crown marshal, Michał Lassocki, starosta of Łęczyca and court marshal, Maciej of Was. crown prince, Mikołaj Róża from Borysowicz, castellan of Zawichost, guard of the Queen Elizabeth of Poland, Stanisław of Szydłowiec, castellan of Żarnów, guard of royal children. In the hands of X. Wojciech of Żychlin, custodian of Sandomierz, canon of Gniezno, Kraków, Kujawy, Poznań, deputy chancellor of the crown.

') M was added much later in a clumsy hand and in paler ink in the space left for the initial. -) The letters t and c are no different in the original. ^) The initial capital letter li is very similar to TT in the original. ■•) Admission. Crunch. Truths wrongly alloris. *) Friend Chrzęść. Truths wrongly: invenia*born. ®) Instead of serie in Prov. sic. '*) This is how the entire sentence stands in the original, but I don't see the point, it should be res temporales instead of rerum temporalium. '*) Convertant in Prov. '*) Prudentia incorrectly in Prov. ") Russie in Przyj. '*) Tarzen Brzozów, a county town. Domarethz ^ Domaradz, a village in Brzozów County. Rauna -i: Równe, Cyrgow ~ Cergowa - a village in Krosno County near Dukla. Radympna ~ Radymno, today a town in Jarosław County. The reader will find more information about it in the explanations above. ") Yes in the original, not in honorem. *) Prae in Proj. *') In Friend etc. But this is not here; etc. the writer writes completely differently. Here we have two c's, or rather two t's (in diplomacy there is no difference between c and <) and above that a contraction sign, which I solve: titiiU. There is indeed a great similarity between the initials C, T, G, S in the handwriting of this diplomat, so that only after a long examination one can distinguish the peculiar features of each letter. The initials B and W are also very similar to each other -®) Mijch in Przy.; Mych is actually standing here, but with a shortened sign. -') Gardonm in Prov. ') Scemen. in Przyj.
