...temporal things and their spacious dominion bring nothing to merit future glory, unless they are converted to pious causes or works of charity; and indeed our predecessors, the princes, diligently considering this by their providence, for the sake of obtaining the same glory and out of regard for divine worship, most abundantly endowed cathedral and collegiate churches, of both secular and regular ecclesiastical persons, and various other churches in the kingdoms and lands subject to them, with villages, possessions, revenues, and other goods, and decorated them with various prerogatives of liberties and privileges; admonished by their example, wishing to follow in their so salutary footsteps, for the remedy of the salvation of our said father and of our own and of our successors, for the amplification of divine worship, certain five royal possessions of ours, of which four have hitherto pertained to our castle of Sanok and one to our castle of Przemyśl in our said kingdom of Rus, removing and withdrawing from our said castles, and wholly and in all things forever exempting and freeing from all jurisdiction and judgment of any captains, castellans, judges, sub-judges, and all and singular our officials, Bresen and Domarethz situated on the water called Slobnicza, likewise the villages named Rauna, Cyrgow, and Radympna, with all and singular rights, dominions, fields, cultivated and uncultivated lands, meadows, woods, forests, brambles, oak groves, apiaries, thickets, mills, fishponds, waters or watercourses, huntings, fowlings, fishings in the aforesaid possessions and the forests adjacent to them, and other revenues pertaining to them, just as these possessions are circumferentially distinct or founded and located in their limits or boundaries, and also just as our predecessors possessed them and we have possessed and held them up to now, from our royal hands we have offered, given, conferred, and donated in perpetual alms to the aforesaid church to be newly founded in honor of the most glorious Virgin Mary and Saint John the Baptist in the said city of Przemyśl as a cathedral, and consequently to the venerable father in Christ, the said lord Eric, bishop of Przemyśl, and to other bishops canonically succeeding him in the said bishopric, as well as to the bishopric of the same church; nay rather, with the consent and well-pleasing will of the most serene princess lady Elizabeth, by the grace of God Queen of Hungary, Poland, Dalmatia, etc., our most dear mother, and by the mature counsel of the prelates and barons of our kingdom, we offer, give, confer, and donate them to be possessed perpetually and irrevocably, and equally to be held and had freely. But in order that such a salutary donation and endowment of our highness may not be revoked into invalidity by anyone in the course of time, we have granted our present letters of privilege, corroborated by the fortification of our hanging and authentic double seal. Given by the hands of the most reverend father in Christ and lord, Lord Demetrius, by divine mercy Cardinal priest of the Holy Roman Church of the title of the Four Crowned Saints, perpetual Governor of the holy church of Esztergom.
