Zadonshchina represents, if not a source, then an example of the sources of a legend and is undoubtedly older than this last one, full of anachronisms.
Zadovshchiva belongs to the third literary school, the poorest in our country in terms of the number of works: the written treatment of songs of glory or gussel words. The work of the Ryazan poet did not reach you intact, unless it was fully recorded by his contemporaries.
Two gravestone inscriptions of the late 17th century for Konstantin Ivanovich and Konstantin Konstantinovich, princes of Ostrog.
Reading by N.I. Petrov.
In one handwritten collection of the Kyiv-Sophia Library, No. 362, between the poetic epigrams of the Kyiv scientists of the youth of the 17th century, we found two eitaphs to the Ostrog princes Konstantin Ivanovich and Konstantin Konstantinovich. Although the first ha of them was written or rewritten, with some additions, in 1693; but it conveys the chronology of Konstantin Ivanovich more accurately than the epitaph to him in the Teraturgim of Kalnofoisky, 1638. The epitaph was hitherto unknown to Konstantin Konstantinovich. Both of them indicate some features of the life of the Ostrozhsvikh princes and therefore may be important for the biography of these princes, who had a close relationship with Kyiv.
